Purchase Order Inquiries
Use this inquiry to drill down to several levels of a purchase order by double-clicking in the desired field. The first level displays an overview of each supplier's purchase order history within a specified date range. Totals are listed for the number of orders, open orders, orders that were received on time, partial receipts, cancels, holds, and unapproved orders. Double-clicking in any of these fields' displays a list of purchase orders that meet the criteria of the field that was double-clicked. To get line item detail for a specific purchase order, double-click on the purchase order record. You can view the receipt history for this purchase order by pressing the Receipts button. The final level is achieved when you double-click on a line item on the purchase order. This displays the current number on hand, on order, committed, available, and the list price for the item at each of its locations.
The Purchase Order Inquiry and Analysis Setup pop-up is displayed. Enter the beginning and ending date for the inquiry. Press [OK] to continue and display the Purchase Order Inquiry screen.
Double-click in any field to display additional information. Each of these fields displays information within the specified date range.
Vendor Double click in this field to view a listing of all purchase orders for the selected supplier.
Total Approved Double click in this field to view the all of the approved purchase orders for this supplier (since the beginning of time).
Open Double click in this field to view all open orders for this supplier. This includes both master and non-master purchase orders.
Complete Double click in this field to view all completed orders for this supplier. This does not include master purchase orders.
Master Double click in this field to view all master purchase orders for this supplier. You can double click on the specific master purchase order to see the amount remaining on the master purchase order.
On Time Double click in this field to view the percentage of purchase orders that have been received on time from a supplier.
Partial Rcvd Double click in this field to view purchase orders that have been partially received from this supplier.
Cancels Double click in this field to view purchase orders that have been canceled for this supplier. Purchase orders that have been canceled can also be viewed in the Total Orders column.
Not Apprvd Double click in this field to view purchase orders that have not yet been approved for this supplier.
The Purchase Orders screen is displayed. This is a list of all purchase orders that meets the qualifications of the field that was double-clicked.
Double-click on an purchase order to display its detail. The Purchase Order Inquiry Detail screen is displayed. This screen displays all of the information on the purchase order. This information can be edited from the Add/Edit Purchase Order Module step as long as no receipts have been processed for this purchase order.
Double-click on a line item on the purchase order. The Item Availability by Location screen is displayed. This pop-up lists the item's description, number on hand, number on order, number committed, net available and the list price for each location of the item. Information for an item can be edited from the Add/Edit Items Module step.
Close each screen to get back to the previous screen and double-click on another option or press [Close Current Window] to return to the Main Module.
