User Defined Paper Size

If you are going to be printing on paper or forms that are not one of the listed paper sizes, you will have to create your own user defined paper size.
Example: You need to print checks on 8 1/2" X 7" check forms.
Complete the following steps in to setup the correct form size:
1. From the Program Manager, select the Control Panel Icon.
2. Next, choose the Printer Icon to display the Printers screen:
3. Highlight the printer you will be printing the forms from.
4. Choose Setup. The Setup screen will be displayed.
5. Choose User Defined from the paper size scroll box. The User Defined Size screen appears.
6. The unit in this example is 0.01 inch.  This means that one-inch equals 100. Enter the Width and the Length for your user-defined form.   For the above example the Width would be 850 (8 1/2" for the width x 100) and the Length would be 700 (7" for the length x 100).
7. When the values are entered, choose [OK]; you will be returned to the Setup screen.  Choose [OK] once more to return to the Printer screen.
8. Press [Close] to return to the Program Manager. The user-defined size will be saved for that printer.
9. Once the user-defined size is setup, you will need to select it when you are ready to print the checks.   Example:  When checks are selected and are displayed in print preview, choose Print Setup from the File Module.
10. Change the paper size to User Defined. Choose [OK]; continue the normal printing cycle.
11. After the checks are printed and you close print preview, you will be asked to save your changes to the form.
12. Answering [Yes] saves the paper size as the user defined size. The next time you print checks, the form size will already be correct.
