To View a Sales Order Inquiry
1. Select the Inquiry tab, Sales Order Module and double-click on the Sales Order Inquiry Module step.
2. The Sales Order Inquiry and Analysis Setup pop-up is displayed.
3. Enter the beginning and ending date for the inquiry. Double-click in these fields to select a date from the calendar.
Begin Date - This date defaults to the first day of the current year.
End Date - This date defaults to the current system date.
4. Press [OK] to continue and display the Sales Order Inquiry screen. Press [Print] or [Print Preview] to review the report associated with this inquiry.
5. Double-click in any field to display additional information. Each of these fields displays information within the specified date range only.
Customer - Double-click in this field to view a listing of all sales orders, including quotes, for the selected customer.
Total Orders - Double-click in this field to view the all of the sales orders, excluding quotes, for this customer since the beginning of time.
On Time Ship % - Double-click in this field to view sales orders that shipped on time for a customer.
Partial Ships - Double-click in this field to view sales orders that have been partially shipped for this customer.
Cancels - Double-click in this field to view sales orders that have been canceled for this customer.
Can't Fill - Double-click in this field to view sales orders that cannot be filled because there are no items in inventory.
Credit Holds - Double-click in this field to view sales orders that are being held for credit reasons.
Quotes - Double-click in this field to view quotes that have been made for this customer.
6. The Sales Orders screen is displayed.
This is a list of all sales orders that meets the qualifications of the field that was double-clicked.
7. Double-click on an sales order to display its detail.
8. The Sales Order Inquiry Detail screen is displayed. This screen displays all of the information on the sales order. This information can be edited from the Add or Change Sales Order Module step on the Data Entry tab, Sales Order Module as long as a pick list has not been created.
9. Double-click on a line item on the sales order.
10. The Item Availability by Location screen is displayed. This pop-up lists the item's description, number on hand, number on order, number committed, net available and the list price for each location of the item. Information for an item can be edited from the Add/Edit Items Module step on the Data Entry tab, Inventory Module.
11. Close each screen to get back to the previous screen and double-click on another option or press [Close Current Window] to return to the Main Module.
