Sales Order Analysis
Sales Order Analysis consists of an easy to use built-in report selector and generator. This flexible reporting tool allows you to select numerous combinations of date ranges, customers, items and sales people. For each item displayed on the report the system will provide the quantity shipped, sales price, gross sales, inventory cost and gross margin. Reports generated from the Sales Order Analysis can be used to evaluate the contribution to gross profit being made by customer, by item and by salesperson. This analysis, when combined with turns analysis from the Inventory Control System, can pinpoint which items are the most profitable and least profitable in any business.
Sales Order Analysis provides the quantity shipped, sales price, gross sales, inventory cost and gross margin for items within a specified date range. These items can be sorted by customer, item or sales person by selecting the appropriate tab and running the report.
The Sales Order Analysis screen is displayed. Enter the beginning and ending date for the report.
Select the customer, item or sales person tab. The selections made on that tab will be used as sort criteria for the report.
Customer All items purchased by the selected customers, within the specified date range, are listed under the customer's name on the report.
Item If you choose the item tab, the sales record for each unit of measure, within the specified date range, is listed below the item's name.
Sales Person The items sold by each sales person, within the specified date range, are listed below the sales person's name.
Select records on either the right or left side of the screen. Use the corresponding arrow to move the record to the other side. Use the single arrow to move one item. Use the double arrow to move all items.
Press Print or Print Preview from the toolbar.
