Purge System Error Log


This Module step is used to delete entries from the Error Log table. The time, date and user of each error is recorded in this table. This information is important when attempting to reconstruct the events leading to any problems that may have occurred during your use of the system. 
After a period of time, this table can become quite large and can affect system performance. This utility provides the deletion of unnecessary or outdated records.
The Purge Error Log form will be displayed showing you the range of dates of entries in the log. Select the number of days you want to keep on the system in the Error Log and then choose [OK]. Error Log entries will be deleted based upon how much history you selected to keep.
