Process/Commit Sales
Orders


Each tab on this Module step provides a function to assist in the processing of a sales order.  From this screen you can view the status of a sales order, create and confirm multiple pick lists, and ship and invoice multiple shipments of a sales order.  Items must be picked and shipped before an accounts receivable invoice can be printed from the Print Customer Invoices Module step.

The Sales Order Processing form is displayed. Type the first characters of the order number or press the drop down arrow to select a sales order from the list. Information concerning the sales order is displayed including its date, status, total, sold to address and ship to address.

If the credit hold box is checked the sales order cannot be processed. To change the customer credit status go to the System Tables Module, Data Entry tab and double-click on the Customer Information Module step.

Select the appropriate tab to process the sales order.  

SO Status   View the number ordered, picked and shipped for each line item on a selected sales order. 
  
Create Picks   Pick items from specific locations to be included in a shipment for a sales order.  Each sales order may have multiple pick lists. Once a pick list has been created a sales order cannot be edited. 
  
Confirm Picks   Confirm that the items selected to be shipped match what is on the pick list. 
  
Ship & Invoice   Select a shipping carrier, verify the numbers being shipped are correct and commit the sales order.   

Press [Close Current Window] or Alt + F + C to return to the Main Module.
