Database Attachment

To attach the accounting databases to your "code", complete the following procedures:
1. The first time you run eTEK™ Accounting you will automatically be attached to the sample database.
2. To start entering accounting data for your organization, go to the System Utilities Module >> Databases Group >> View/Attach Databases Action (see below example):

3. The accounting database to attach to is often called eTEKData.accdb (or something similar) and the error database to attach to is called eTEKErr.accdb (or something similar)..
4. If the paths for the databases are correct, press [OK] or hit Enter.
5. If the paths are incorrect, type the correct path into the necessary field or press the [Search] button to bring up the file selector screen.  
6. To select a file from the Browse screen, click on the file name and press [OK] or hit Enter to return to the Database Locations screen.
7. Once the correct paths have been entered, press [Attach] to begin the attach procedure. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you have purchased a license for multiple companies/organizations, the above process is how you would attach to different databases to perform their accounting operations.
