Certified Payroll

The Certified Payroll report should be run any time you are working on a government job.  The government  requires a report for each certified payroll indicating the job, name and address of each employee, the social security number for each employee, number of hours worked each day of the week, the rate of pay per hour (regular, time and a half, or double time), total hours worked, total gross pay, federal withholding tax, FICA, state withholding tax, city withholding tax, other deductions, and net pay.  The certified payroll lists all the information required by the government.  This report also gives control totals for each government job.

The Certified Payroll Report Setup screen will be displayed. Enter the week end date for this certified payroll report.

Then select which certified projects you want to run the report for. Only active jobs that were marked as certified projects in the Add/Edit Job Master Information Module step will be available to select.

Choose [OK] and the certified payroll report will be displayed in Print Preview.

To print the report choose either the [Print] button from the toolbar or from the File Module choose Print (Alt + F + P). To close the report when you are finished choose [Close Current Window] from the toolbar or, from the File Module, choose Close (Alt + F + C).
