Setting up Account Header Names

Complete the following procedures to enter a new general ledger account header record:
1. Select the Data Entry tab, System Utilities Module and double-click on the Module step Add/Edit Account Header Names.
2. The G/L Chart of Accounts form will be displayed.
3. Enter information into the Number and Name fields.  The Type field is filled in automatically based on information entered in the Account Control Specifications. 
4. This information may be sent directly to the printer by pressing the [Print] button or it may be viewed or exported to Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel by pressing the [Print Preview] command button from the toolbar.
5. Press the [Close Window] button from the toolbar to return to the Main Module.
Note:  To edit an account header, change its status to Delete and add the correct account to the bottom of the table.  Press the [New] button on the toolbar to go directly to the last empty record in the table.
